The InterPetFest Fund – Join hands to protect abandoned pets in Vietnam
The year 2024 marks a positive shift in the community’s attitudes towards caring for animals, including pets. While we’ve made progress, it’s important to recognize that many abandoned animals still need homes or assistance at rescue centers. These organizations work tirelessly for their cause, but they often face limited resources. As a result, even a small contribution from you can greatly impact saving lives.
With love for four-legged animals and a desire to create a community for pet lovers, the InterPetFest Fund was established. The fund supports rescue organizations in caring for abandoned, neglected, or abused animals. It collaborates with reputable rescue organizations in Ho Chi Minh City and other areas. The InterPetFest Fund aims to spread the message of animal love. It contributes to building a better living environment for pets.
1. Where does the fund originate from?
The International Pet Festival and Expo Vietnam 2025 brings together pet industry businesses. It includes entertainment activities, competitions, and specialized workshops. The InterPetFest Fund includes contributions from event organizers, ticket sales for nearly 10.000 visitors and participants of Dogathon, and contributions from over 150 exhibitors. We also invite individuals who wish to further contribute to rescue organizations present at the event.
In addition, we also received contributions of sponsored pet products from brands and exhibitors at the event. These products, along with the Interpetfest Fund after summarization, will be distributed to support rescue organizations.
2. Fund activities orientation
The InterPetFest Fund works with rescue units to provide financial support for their operations. It also raises awareness about animal rescue through effective communication, enhancing community understanding of pet care, protection, and compassion. Simultaneously, the InterPetFest Fund mobilizes pet adoption efforts, aiming to provide a better life for both pets and their caregivers. By promoting responsible pet ownership and encouraging adoption, the fund plays a vital role in improving the well-being of animals in need and fostering a compassionate community.
