Cat Garden Station – A Loving Home for Vulnerable Cats

Cat Garden Station was established in April 2019 with love and care under the hands of Ms, Ngo Dinh Van Khanh. It is a government-recognized, non-profit animal rescue organization that works for the community.

With a mission to protect and care for vulnerable cats, Cat Garden Station has become a sanctuary for hundreds of stray, abandoned, or unlucky cats. Currently, Cat Garden Station operates with two stations in Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong, each playing a special role:

Ho Chi Minh Station – A Place of Welcome and New Hope

The Ho Chi Minh station is the starting point for the rescue and care journey for cats. Here, about 50 cats are rescued, screened, and provided with special medical care, especially those with illnesses requiring extra attention. This is also where many cats find their new homes. Cat lovers have the opportunity to meet and interact with the cats at the station, ensuring a good match before adopting.

Lam Dong Station – A Retirement Home

Covering an area of 1,500m², the Lam Dong station is divided into various sections and houses around 200 cats. Most of the cats here are less fortunate, not adopted, or older cats needing a peaceful place to enjoy their later years. The spacious, green environment provides a calm and comfortable life for them.

 

The Challenges Behind the Love

Despite giving their full love and care, Stray Cat Garden is facing numerous financial and operational challenges. Ms. Van Khanh, the founder, with a warm heart and boundless love for the cats, works tirelessly to maintain the operations of the garden.

Stray Cat Garden is not only a shelter but also a beacon of hope for vulnerable cats. Any support, big or small, is an invaluable source of encouragement to help improve the lives of these cats.

InterPetFest warmly welcomes Cat Garden Station’s participation as an unofficial rescue organization, joining hands with the InterPetFest fund and other rescue organizations in this event. Together, we will support the campaign to spread the beautiful message of love and raise community awareness about caring for pets.
